April Brown, MCAS, Auctioneer

April Brown is a veteran auctioneer with over 19 years specializing in fundraising auctions. She is also the founding director of Whisker City, a feline rescue organization located in Shoreline, Washington, where she makes her home with her husband Mike and their dogs Chatter and Giggles and cats Millie, Charlotte and Twinkie.

April is passionate about the world of charity auctions, developing many of the profit making concepts used through out the United States for raising more money. She has personally called over 1500 auctions and has many clients that have been with her for over a decade. "I have a dozen great ideas every day and I'm always looking for new concepts that make an auction memorable and profitable"

 

 

 

Mike Brown

Master of Ceremonies and Catalog Reader 

Mike Brown is a 37-year radio veteran who has worked in a variety of roles since arriving in Seattle in 1983. 

He currently works at 710 ESPN Seattle and 97.3 KIRO FM as a sports anchor & reporter and has been the host of the Seahawks Game Day blog/ live chat on mynorthwest.com for three seasons. He can often be heard as the host of the Mariners pregame and postgame call-in shows. 

"Brownie" has covered the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL, the NBA Finals, the MLB playoffs and two All-Star games as well as the UW football team's national championship run in 1991. Mike is also in his 14th season as the the radio play-by-play voice for Husky softball and was at the microphone when the team won its first national championship in 2009.

Mike frequently works on stage as emcee with his wife April Brown, a popular charity auctioneer who owns Charity Auction World. Together they founded Blue Sky Charities, a non-profit organization that serves the needs of homeless people and pets.
