Linda Ellis Choose Copyright Trolling - No Longer The Inspiring Poet
LINDA ELLIS COPYRIGHT
Consider how much Linda Ellis' life has changed since we exposed The Dash Extortion Scheme. She no longer enjoys the unearned reputation as an inspirational author that Mac Anderson created for her back in 2005 when they co-authored a book about that stupid poem "The Dash". The photo below was taken in 2009. I wrote to Mac Anderson in 2011 and made him aware of Ellis' operation. Not sure if that letter was the straw that broke the camel's back for Mac, but he no longer associates with Ellis. The deal they struck back then has long since expired and Linda is left to her own devices to promote herself. She has pathetically added this comment from Mac Anderson to the revamping of her website. The so called endorsment was penned way back in 2006 as if Anderson wrote it today.
"I can count on one hand how many times I've read something that stopped me in my tracks ... words that bypassed the brain and went straight to the heart. Reading "The Dash" was one of those moments."
Founder and Former CEO - Successories, Inc."
Mac actually wrote those two sentences in 2005 in an effort to promote the book. The last time he was seen with Ellis was in 2009. He wisely has distanced himself from Linda Ellis and her unscrupulous behavior toward the very people who buy the book. Imagine if Mac Anderson attempted to extort money from his readers. Linda Ellis is the only poet or author known to send her poetry to fans via email and if those fans share her poetry in a post online, in a funeral program or school lesson, then demand a fee of $2500. Linda Ellis and John Jolin decided to try a new tactic and have now reduced the fee has been reduced from $7500 and they now call it a retrolicensing fee.
You will also be interested in noting that I cover exactly what was going on with Mac Anderson and Linda Ellis in 2005 when both decided to screw over Robin Krasney and Eddie Fischer out of a contract Ellis had reached with both in 2000. Mac Anderson does not have clean hands either. Read
They say "no man is an island", but Linda Ellis could not be more ostracized that she is today.
